I’m so sorry I haven’t updated in ages! 😦 I’ve been really busy recently and moved countries in September. I probably won’t update at all any more, I might, but I probably won’t. So yeah. Sorry 😦

I scanned the paper as the kids got ready for school. A birth, a couple of newlyweds, someone moving in… I gasped. No… But I couldn’t deny the truth of what I was seeing. I dropped the paper. How could he have gotten here? He was supposed to be in prison! I quickly got my my phone and called the number the agents had given me to call if there was any trouble. I bit my lip anxiously as I waited for them to pick up. How long would it take for him to find out where I live? Suddenly I heard a “Hello?” on the phone.

I jumped. “Uh, Hi, I’m Juliet Summerdew. I’m supposed to be in witness protection.”

A male voice responded quickly; “How can I help you, Juliet?”

“I just read the paper. The man who killed my daddy just moved to Neverglade, where I am.”I blurted out.

I heard a gasp. Then the “Okay, we are making immediate plans for you and your family to move to a new town, far away. He won’t find you there.”

“Oh…okay”

I hung up as I thought; How was I going to explain this to Jim and the kids?

“So that’s what happened.” I finished, sitting back and trying to not cry.

“So, let me get this straight. This guy, uh, Masama, was your boyfriend when you were 16, but you dumped him because your dad didn’t like him. Then, on the day before your 18th birthday, he came to your house. Have I got this right so far?”

I nodded. I remembered that night like it was yesterday.

12 YEARS AGO

“Goodnight daddy!” I called as I went inside my room.

“Goodnight my Summer” Daddy responded, like always.

I didn’t know was that that night, that perfectly ordinary night, was about to turn into a nightmare. I didn’t know that those words would be the last my daddy ever said. I didn’t know that behind my smiling daddy waited a killer.

THE PRESENT

I shook myself out of the nightmare to discover silent tears were running down my face. Jim came over to the sofa and sat down, pulling me close. I just cried and cried and cried. Jim was there; murmuring comforting nonsense.

“Wow! This is amazing!”

“Thanks mum!”

I heard praise from around the table as I served dinner.

Jim smiled at me before starting to speak. “Okay guys, your mum and I have a big surprise for you.”

Danny stopped eating to stare at Jim. The triplets kept eating.

“We’re moving!” I blurted out.

Danny grinned, but then looked confused. “Where to?” he asked.

Jim and I looked at each other. “Well, that’s the thing sweetie. We don’t…”

I was interrupted by my phone ringing. I went outside to listen, but came back quickly.

“That was Agent Keller. The one who I told about Masama.” I murmured under my breath to Jim.

“Danny, we now know where we’re moving to!” I said brightly.

“Bridgeport!”

Chapter 5: New Kids in The House

Juliet:

The next day, after the wedding, I got up early and wrote “Peace, Love and Music”.

Jim got up a few hours later and taught Danny to talk.

Mau99:

What does this mean? Time machine?

Juliet:

“Jim!” I called. “Yes honey?’ Jim replied, walking over to me. “I’m pregnant” I declared. Jim’s mouth fell open. I watched him anxiously. “Yay! I’m gonna be a daddy two times!” he shouted suddenly. I smiled. We wanted a big family, and we were going to get one!

Ah… Everything is normal in the Summerdew house…

Just kidding!

“Aaaaaaahhhhhhhh!!!!!!!” I shrieked like a banshee.

Labour spam coming up! 😛

Danny:

“Wha it say? Ummmm…. Balu! Heehee… Balu birdie.”

Juliet:

*screams*

Jim:

“Ahhhh! My wife’s in labour!!! Aaaahhhhh!!!”

Ah… Family time… precious…. xD

“Aaaaeeeeeiiiiiiiii!!!!”

*pant, pant, pant*

“Aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh!!!!!!”

*grits teeth*

“You are taking pictures of my PAIN!!!!”

I took all the kids to the same stylist that fixed Danny’s old glitch, and asked him if he could fix his again and the girls.

Danny looked very cute in his outfit and curly hair. He insisted on the cargo shorts, telling me that all the cool boys wore them. I tried not to cry. My little baby was growing up so fast! *blubs*

I think the girls must be the cutest toddlers I have ever seen! Although I might be a little biased… 😛 I just had to get them matching hairstyles, although Jim drew the line at matching outfits and colours! I convinced him that the outfits could be all of their favourite colours.

Chapter 4: The Wedding

Juliet:

“Blow out the candles Danny!” I encouraged my son.

“Whoooo!” my husband cheered.

“Poof!” Danny giggled as he blew softly “Go poof!”

“Go Danny!” Jim and I cheered.

“Yay!” I exclaimed loudly. Inside I was cursing. “Why did my son have to be glitched?” I decided to take Danny to the clothes shop nearby the next day.

I walked in, the bell clanging behind me. I chose some clothes for Danny and laid them on the counter. “Can you fix it?” I asked the man at the desk quietly, “Can you get the glitch out?” He looked up, startled. I showed him Danny. “I… Yes,” he replied, holding his hands out, “May I?”

This is the result! My beautiful boy! 😀 I hoped he would grow to be a handsome boy. I knew he wouldn’t disappoint me.

Such a cutie pie! If only I had know before…

“Come to mummy!” I called. Danny came towards me, stumbling a little.

“Good boy!” I said quietly, hugging Danny, “You did it”

Meanwhile, Jim was fixing the washing machine. “Ouch!” A shout came from outside every few minutes. I rolled my eyes and smiled. I loved him really.

I giggled when Jim came in, then laughed uncontrollably for a few minutes while he stood there with his hands on his hips. 😀 “Not funny” I heard him say when I’d finally got control of myself. I raised my eyebrows, lips quivering. Then we both were laughing. 😀

I thought it was time for a change, so I went to the stylist the next morning. I ordered a special Vera Wang dress from a catalog as well, just for the wedding.

The gusts had arrived, and it was time to start the party!

Juliet:

At home, I nervously changed into my dress, then changed Danny into his outfit. I checked myself in the mirror, and smiled hesitantly. Jim was at work, but he had promised to be there on time, if not early. I walked out of the house, Danny in my arms.

I walked past. Everybody was staring. I thought to myself, “Vera has truly outdone herself” 😀

I climbed the stairs, and reached the bridge. This was it. The start of my new life (Although I was pretty sure nothing would change :D). I closed my eyes and smiled, hugging Danny to me. I was young, and silly. I was free.

Jim held my hand as we bought two of the photos taken and edited. I smiled. I was truly blessed.

That was before. Now, I know. If you love someone, it makes it all the easier for an enemy to hurt you.

Chapter 3: Boy or girl?

And…. We start off the chapter wiiiith…. A meteor! Possibly falling on… Oh Shoot…

Juliet:

Jim and I decided to go to the new Salon we’d heard about in the paper. Hey… Why is is so dark… Aaaarrgh!!!! There is a meteor falling on my head! Pretty…

Ruuuuuuun!!!!!!

*gasp* Wow… Ow! I got burnt… 😦 I didn’t know meteors fell in Neverglade…

While I was getting burnt, Jim was rushing out to valiantly save me, Jim was checking out his butt in the mirror.

Later, I finished The Pyramids, and started a new book, Aliens, Ninjas and Angels. Jim worked out, explaining “I have to be physically fit to be a Spy.”

I ran to the toilet quickly as I felt the nausea bubbling up my throat. Bleeegh! Must have been some food I ate…

I bought a new easel! I’m going to learn how to paint, and then I can sell the paintings and make more money so Jim and I can expand the house!

It smells in here…

Jim plays with our son all the time… He’s such a good daddy…

Wedding day! “Oy! Jim! Get up! We are getting married today!” 😀 He was up like a rocket, saluting. “Yes ma’am!” I giggled at his accent, then I called the hairdresser’s to make sure they had space.

We went home to get our son, and then walked out of the house with our son, to our wedding.

Chapter 2: Love is in the air! <3

Juliet:

I went home quickly, anxious to continue my novel, “The Pyramids”.

I wrote for a bit, then saw an ad for an online psychic reading, and thought “Why not?” and clicked on it, I was brought to a page with a bright tent on it, I clicked on the tent, and a woman’s voice came out of my computer. I turned the volume up. “You will meet a man… a good man, and you will have a looong and fulfilling life together. You will make a deal, a deal with Deeeaaath…” the voice trailed off.

“Freaky.” I thought. “Huh, whatever” I had a last look at the page, and noticed a bright blue ad with the words; #1 Chat Avenue! Meet new people! “Hey! I could meet a new friend!” I thought excitedly to myself. So far the only person I knew was my boss! I clicked on it, and opened an adult chat, singles chat and girls only chat.

In the adult chat, I was quickly bombarded with disgusting messages and pictures. I hastily closed that.

On the girls only chat, there was mostly only talk about other girls, shoes and nails, none of which I was interested in. I closed that as well. That left the singles chat.

I had a quick look at that, certain I’d have to close that, and stopped. The only people were an obviously old man, who kept saying, “In my day etc.” and a guy called Jim Die. “Huh. odd name” I thought. I chatted quickly,

ME: Hey Jim. I’m Juliet. You live in Neverglade, right?

JIM: Yeah. Loglane 3. You?

ME: I live at Hallow Hill.

JIM: The place where that old castle was?

OLD GUY: In my day, the only thing that was old were stones!

ME: Yep.

JIM: Where do you work? I work at the police station. My life’s dream is to be an International Super Spy.

OLD GUY: I was there when the television was invented you know!

ME: Awesome! I want to be a writer, but I have to work at the school because my creator made me because I have to make some money before I hit the big time.

*OldGuyzRCool is now offline*

JIM: Don’t worry hon, you’ll get there in no time! Look, I’m sorry, but I have to go to work now… Can I come over after my shift ends?

ME: Thanks! Yeah, sure!

I squealed. I had a friend! A single, cute, guy friend! This was destined to be! 😀 I thought suddenly of the prophecy. It was coming true! Cool…

Hey! New furniture! 😀

I nervously made the bed and tided the house in preparation of meeting Jim face-to-face for the first time…

Jim:

I need to give this gal some flowers!

Juliet:

“Hey Jim! Come in!” I said cheerfully. “Sure” he replied in his deep voice.

“Jim. I know I’ve only known you for a little while, but in that little while, I’ve realized that you are a really cute guy!” I told Jim. He stared into my eyes for a minute. “Thank you hon” he replied huskily.

His eyes… so green…

Our first kiss… was magical…

“Jim… I love you. Please will you ..um.. maybe be my… uh… boyfriend?” I stumbled over my words, having not said them for so long…”Of course. I love you Juliet.” I smiled. “Uh…” “Yes?” Jim asked “Could you maybe move in with me? I’m a little lonely.” Seeing his shocked face, I hastily continued “But uh… you don’t have too, it’s ok if you don’t want to…” “Yes” he replied simply, smiling brightly, “Yes, yes, yes!” He swung me round, hugging me.

When I got up, I glanced at my watch and gasped. It was time for work! I got changed quickly, kissed Jim, and rushed out.

Jim:

Flowers! I need to buy flowers!

Juliet:

I needed going to write a Romance novel next…

Jim:

Love… I loved my brothers, I loved my parents, and newest, I loved Juliet Summmerdew…

Fishing. I could fish, and when I caught some fish, I could sell them, and then Juliet and I could expand the house!

Chapter 1: Arrival

As the taxi drove to my new home, my mind wandered. This could be a new start for me, free of him.
I could maybe start a family, make some friends, without the influence of him.

I could be free.

“What shall I do first…..” I thought out loud, “Hmmmmmmm… I know! I’ll go and take a writing class!’ I’d always wanted to be a Professional Author, but he hadn’t approved. But what can he do now? He is in jail, and I am far away from that jail.

I looked in the newspaper lying in the grass, and found that sometimes they did writing classes in the business office. I called a taxi, and jumped in, saying as I shut the door, “Business office please!” “You be wan’ing Doo Peas then?” “Ookay?” I said questioningly “Doo Peas Corporate Towers, also know as business office, it is!” He said with a wink, turning to the wheel.

Before I walked in, I made a quick call to Curry’s and asked them to deliver something to my lot.

As I walked into Doo Peas, I was greeted by cold, from the air-con and from the stare of the receptionist. “Uh… Hi, I’m Juliet Summerdew, and I’d like to take a writing class please?” I addressed the wall behind the woman. She ignored me, turning back to her computer. I tried again, a little louder “I would like to take a writing cl-” I was cut off by a bright, happy looking guy who said clearly “This way please!” I stared at him, flummoxed. “Writing class?” he prompted “Oh! Yes!” He led me down the corridor, and I had my writing class! It was great! I learned sooo much!

Afterward, I walked to the library and started to practice what I’d learned in my class. I even started a book! “The Pyramids”- a fiction book, the first in a series of adventures in foreign lands!

As I was starting my book, I thought about the things I hoped to achieve: meet a good guy, start a family, have kids, build a big house, be really rich… “Sadly, I knew some of these would have to be achieved by my children, or grandchildren, but some of them,” I thought to myself , “Some of them could be started off , maybe not achieved, but started, by me”

With that thought in my head, I hailed a taxi, jumped in, and told the driver to drive to a good place to get a job. I looked up at the school, the place the driver had driven to, and thought, “I want to be an author, but being an author has it’s downsides, and one of them was low royalties, at least till I hit the big time. So I went in, and asked if they had any spots for me to work.” They had one spot left for a Playground Monitor, so Playground Monitor I became!

I took a taxi home, and there was my fridge that I’d ordered earlier! 😀

I took some cereal out and began eating. It was okay , but I was used to hot cooked meals from my mum. 😦
